Piper City Sesquicentennial Celebration
Piper City will celebrate its 150th Anniversary with a celebration on August 2-3,2019. Friday night festivities include an opening ceremony revealing the contents of the time capsule from 1969, bingo,midway games,bounce houses, and live music with a barbershop quartet, followed by the Esh Van Project. Saturday events include a kiddie parade, grand parade beginning at 1:00, show and shine car and tractor show,and various games and contests at Branch Park. The Piper City/Ford Central Alumni Dinner will be held Saturday evening, along with bingo,bounce houses, games on the midway, and live music featuring The New Relation.
